Victor looks to the other side. Emilia is not with the group, nor does she seem near. Victor’s spirits sink, but it was Emilia who turned him. Besides, once all the beasts make it to the end, Emilia will be put to death. 

“I have returned a member of your pack.” Victor declares.

“You have brought back someone who was sentenced to death.” Borden pauses then asks, “Who are you?”

“Prince Victor of the MoonLight Kingdom. If you want war against those who turned their backs on you, I can lead you.” Victor declares his words without a flinch.

No one has ever been excited to see her. People usually don’t want her around. She matters to someone.

“Your men are weak because you are weak.” The king says in disgust. He takes a dagger from Victor’s boot, “You had this tool the entire time. You could’ve killed the beast when it was on top of you.”
